Cove Pointe is a small subdivision of 30 singe family homes.
It's another in a series of lesser known, possibly overlooked Venice neighborhoods that rarely have homes for sale. The last sale in Cove Pointe was in November 2023, with a home currently for sale as of this writing. HOA fees are $850 quarterly, plus $475 annual master association fee. There is no CDD fee.

About 2/3 of the homes in Cove Pointe have a water view. If you've driven around Venice you may have noticed a lot of vacant land with new construction. The lake in Cove Pointe borders on privately owned acreage (similar to the site of Brighton new homes) that could be developed and affect your views and privacy in the future.
Some Cove Pointe homes were built in the 1990's and have updating. Some may need updates to kitchens, flooring, and baths. Many of the homes have private pools.
Cove Pointe is not in a flood zone, and the homes here escaped Milton and Helene with little if any damage.
