I have updated photos for you of the new home development at Jacaranda and Border Road, called Palencia.
Palencia is a DR Horton community built by their Freedom Homes division. Freedom Homes have lower pricing and finishes, with low fees and a short list of amenities, like a small community pool and club house.
If a $800,000 price tag for a new home in Wellen Park seems high to you (and it is!), Palencia is probably more to your liking.
At this stage of construction it's difficult to envision what Palencia will look like. To get a better idea, take a look at Rapalo or The Preserve in Wellen Park. Single family homes here should have room for private pools, although buyers for Horton's Freedom Homes line usually do not add them, opting to take advantage of the community pool.
