Rapalo is a popular, newer community of single family homes just between Manasota Key Beach and Venice off Hwy 776.
Built between 2016 and 2018, the gated community of Rapalo has 108 residences. Rapalo has a community pool The quarterly HOA fee of $660-$700 quarterly covers pool and lawn maintenance. See my photos and video below.
Homes in Rapalo can be leased, but only after the current owner has owned the property for 2 years.
Rapalo was built with affordability in mind, with the builder, DR Horton, offering simple floor plans and more restricted choices for flooring, kitchens, and baths.
Rapalo in Venice FL homes fared well during the last hurricanes because of the adherence to modern building codes. These also turned out to be good investments, with recent sales showing strong appreciation compared to original sales prices.
Rapalo has had limited availability of homes for sale, but I can recommend similar nearby communities by the same builder, with the same philosophy toward keeping HOA fees low.
