I just saw some June #realestate statistics released by Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee, which combines results for Sarasota, Bradenton, and North Port.
A realistic snapshot of our market requires data be analyzed at a more granular level. For example, Venice shows single family home sales were down 10% in June year over year. In Nokomis/North Venice, single family home sales were flat, with just under half of those being new construction.
The old saying "all real estate is local" is always true. When you're interviewing a #listingagent or a #buyersagent, ask them where they get their research from, and how it's calculated.
