Venezia Park is one of the re-eminent neighborhoods in Venice, declared a US historic district. In 1989 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The neighborhood is full of homes built in the 1920's and 1930's, which have a strong Mission/Spanish revival influence. Harbor Drive is the southern boundary for Venezia Park.
Besides the historic homes, there is a significant presence of new construction in-fill homes, which take design cues from the Spanish revival style, as well as homes with a Carolina coastal design. Original ranch homes are slowly being replaced with these newer, larger homes. Venezia Park has no HOA or CDD fees, and no design committee, so you can build the style of home you want (subject to local zoning and permits). Home sites here range from 8,000 sq. ft. to just under half an acre.
Whichever style of home you prefer, there's lots more to like about living in Venezia Park. The neighborhood is walkable to downtown Venice, or to Venice Beach. Venezia Park itself is quite large, with old growth trees, a walking trail, children's playground, and picnic tables. It's a perfect place to tak a walk with your dog.
Homes for sale in Venezia Park are scarce, with prices ranging from $500,000 to over $2 million. Contact me to get alerts for Venezia Park new listings and price changes david@davidbarrhomes.com 941-993-6853
