Watercrest created a lot of excitement when it was first announced, and it heralded the development we now see at the Jacaranda traffic circle at East Venice Avenue.

Many of you know that Watercrest in Venice FL was built by Lennar, and you'll find the same floor plans in Lennar communities across my service area. I have the original floor plans stored electronically, which I'm happy to share with you upon request (no agents, please).
Watercrest is gated, and features a small community pool and fitness center, which keeps fees low. Single family and paired villas are the housing options, with HOA fees for single family homes $222 monthly to $788 quarterly. Association fees for the villas are $775 quarterly, with no HOA fees. Watercrest has no CDD fees for either property type.
Watercrest is a bargain when you compare similar floor plans in different Lennar-built communities.

Only 11 single family homes sold in the past year, along with 5 villas, out of 296 total homes in Watercrest, which I interpret as a sign of a successful community with happy home owners.
